The new CCM Tacks XF Pro Shoulder Pad provides that pro level protection you would expect from CCM. What CCM has done use of D3O in key zones with HD foam shoulder caps for that pro level protection, adptfit system to get a more customized fit to your body and to help regulate your body temperature use of AER-TEC technology for increased breathability. All these features come together to a shoulder pad with top level protection with great mobility and keeping you feel cool throughout the game.
BODY CONSTRUCTION
Making sure this shoulder pad moves with you while still providing maximum coverage CCM has gone with an Anatomical Shield Design with added mobility design and molded zotefoam along the side panels on the front & back of the body to help give protection and increased ventilation.
SHOULDER & BICEPS
We see CCM using a dual core shoulder cap design that allows for both protection when giving and receiving a check and also adding additional durability. Along the shoulder joints we see added D30 zero to bring another added level of protection without taking away mobility. Connecting to the shoulder caps is the HD molded bicep guards with large vent ports and added AER-TEC technology for breathability and fit. Like prior models the bicep is adjustable to better tailor the fit with your elbow pad for a seamless connection.
STERNUM & SPINE
The two main sections for maximum protection well padded & ventilated, visibly we see the use of D3O on the sternum & spine plate for increased impact dispersion and HD foam ontop of it. The sternum plate is floating to give added mobility as it will move with you while you play, the back protector is a one piece construction HD foam to give you maximum protection while still moving with you throughout the game.
