Introducing the new CCM Axis XF Pro pad built with the Total Custom Plus features that have a tight fit leg channel, recessed knee with removable knee wrap, pre curved single break core no break external and the new Infinite Rebound core. The new XF pad has been considerably improved from the previous Axis 2 model.
CONSTRUCTION
CCM has improved the slideability and stability on the ice with the new Speed channel which is a tapered inset channel with a flat outer wing to provide a smoother gliding surface while giving consistent contact to the ice for better stability. Inside comes the new LITEXCORE internal construction with added rebound enhancement so you can direct the puck where you want it go and far enough way to get ready for the next shot.
STRAPPING
With the tight fit leg channel we also have CCM's QMSS2 system that has new adjustability behind it for an even more customized fit to your leg and a molded upper calf strap to help better position your leg and improve pad rotation.
KNEE CRADLE
Our knee cradle is a recessed with removable outer wrap so you can choose if you want have a fully open knee. The knee stack is a HD one-piece landing zone to really seal to the ice and give even more stability, internally it has been engineered to absorb the impact so your joints don't feel it throughout the game.
TOE & BOOT STRAP
We have gone with the hybrid skate lace bungee system on a HD foam toe bridge as well as the no boot strap option as well.
